Foods are prone to deterioration due to their biodegradability. When bacteria or molds grow, releasing toxins harmful to the human body and eventually lead to food poisoning. In order to maximize production, to preserve food or to add more flavors, manufactures often use additives to control pests or diseases. However, improper handling, and poor preservation often lead to food contamination or toxicity, which jeopardizes or even thretens the health of consumers. Recently, food safety has become a major issue that arouses the attention of consumers after many major food safety problems had occured. Governments also list food safety as a policy issue that needs to be managed and strengthened.

Improper drug usage or overdose could leave more drug residues in livestocks or even be converted into poisons that damage human health by the biological metabolism of animals. Therefore, to ensure the health of animals and humans, farmers and food processors should establish a system to periodically detect the amount of drug residues or pollutants in foods.Food are prone to deterioration due to their biodegradability. When bacteria or mold is too much, the toxins will be harmful to the human body and cause food poisoning. In order to make the output of the ingredients sufficient, to make food easy to preserve or to make food more flavorful, people often use drugs to control livestock’s diseases, use processing methods to preserve foods or add additives to enhance the flavor of food. Inconsistent, improper handling, and poor preservation of the environment often lead to food contamination or toxicity, threatening or even jeopardizing the health of the consumer. In recent years, after many major food safety problems have occurred, food safety has become a consumer issue that buyers and users attach great importance to. Governments also direct food safety as a policy issue that needs to be managed and strengthened.

If the drug is improperly or excessively caused residues in livestock animals, or the biological reaction mechanism of animals, sometimes the pollutants produced by the mold naturally in the feed are converted into poisons which harmful to human organs, and indirectly harm the consumers health. Therefore, farmers and food processors should establish and regularly detect the level of drug residues or pollutants to ensure the health of animals and humans.
